I heard this week that jj are calling it a day? once they finish with the A46 works the company will be wound down, anybody else heard this?

everyone has had there notice most of the machines have gone already the ones they still have have been sold and hired back and they are finishing when they compleate the a46

Rumour is that Vinci will go to the subbie/rental route for any earthworks in the UK. Don't think the same will be said in France as they seem to be taking new kit all the time.

They had a couple of Cat graders and some dozers on the A46 this summer.

I've got a mate there on a 324. I think Jones have only got about 10 machines left of their own and a few of those are dumptrucks
