I was givern a spare hydraulic tank looks the same as that one.
Restoration on hold now as the weather is crap.
Will be on my TD6 next week,weather permitting.

Believe that the donkey block does not drain completely via the tap and that loosening the heads is the only way to ensure complete draining.

Yes,Angus is spot on,water still remains at the bottom of the water jacket.Always slacken off heads if you want to drain the system If you look close below the heads you may see a crack/bulge or repair.I have had my D2 repaired years ago with no problem.When you fill her up with water,always open the water vent cock on the donkey engine,its on the left side just by the choke/throttle.If this is not done you may get the cooling system airlocked.

Started up the D4 today,give it a good four mins then fired up the diesel.A bit warmer here now at 2* C.Better than the minus 8 last Tuesday night.Anyone fed up of turkey yet
