Re: Material handlers
A few pics of a Fuchs 714 and a hydraulic press that I took at the same place where I snapped the Hymac 595; note the press/crusher has its own power pack.

Re: Material handlers
Somewhere in this thread I have posted various photos that were taken at what was once known as Brookes Bros scrapyard at the end of Powke Lane Cradley Heath, I can recall that Brookes was one yard I never got to set a foot in, they operated 22RB cranes during the 70's and in one of the photos I posted there was the last one that they had.
Jumping ahead they have been taken over more than once, the last but one time being owned by Simms Metals, my best guess is that it would have been around five years ago now when they were taken over by a company named Enable Link, who erected large steel bays that took away some of the vantage points I had for photographic opportunities.
Sadly Enable Link went bump sometime just after Christmas, I have no details as such but the yard that was once Brookes Bros has now been emptied with the land advertised for sale, so nothing left now, here is a link to what once was:

Never realised that I posted that 14 years ago
a few photos of what once was and what now is:

RIP Brookes Bros
