Collected the Bridgeport yesterday and safely moved it down to my folks where it and my Harrison lathe have met each other for the first time, temporarily preventing the rear of MF65 from being undercover until mh next trip down on Friday to continue clearing the workshop for them.
Some pics of the fun and games:

Re: Creating the workshop I always promised myself
Thanks Jeremy, I was on my way to creating something at my old place, however it was going to be in a nigh on tandem length single width garage where power would have been limited to the 60amp domestic supply. At least now adding 415V 3 phase is very much on the cards, and I won't be pushing my luck on the planning permission front installing the ramp under cover.
In addition to the Mill I have also treated myself to a reasonable 2nd hand R-Tech (I have one of their Mig welders which is bloody lovely to use) 160Amp AC/DC Tig so I can also learn to do some aluminium welding at long last

Re: Creating the workshop I always promised myself
Wonders will never cease; one bank holiday weekend later and after a bit of clearing out the Lathe and Mill have finally migrated from being under cover, but outside my workshop to inside:
But don't be fooled by the space inside from that first pic as this lot (less the non folding engine crane and Howard rotorvator - one of three,or two too many) had to go back in there:
...and not only is a major tidy up required:
I also need to rejig the layout to move this storage and do away with some of the workbench area to do that so there's enough room for full travel on the Mill

Re: Creating the workshop I always promised myself
Nothing 'ex' about it Pete, we have 3 of the pony sized buggers occupying some of the field to the south of the yard and their accompanying clobber, including one of them there tall wheeled box thingies that they get carted about in, taking up perfectly good dry storage. Infuriatingly for me I'm told that monies are exchanged for their on going tenancy and therefore I can't evict them to store my own rusty tat in their place
