it's quite amazing at just what different companies manufactured, it just shows the engineering experience and heritage that was once part of our country.

There are some of these in Barcelona's only surviving proper station.
Unfortunately they're not in the condition seen here any more after a train ruined the shanks of the buffers it collided with.
