this is in a disused quarry i visited this year the undercarridge is as new but it looks to have engine problems

International B125 still working for a living in Norfolk, and one in North Yorks that needs a bit of tlc but currently in service as a breakwater :D

Bought from McCarten Plant sales in Saintfield, this 941C is the machine that first appeared on our Landfill Site over 20 years ago. we kept it as a spare and for part nostalgia, although we would probably never deam about using it for a full days work now. Shes' still very capable tho and I do use it to push the stock pile of muck and rubble on my new house project :) These were as common as excavators that are on sites today, it's amazing just how much the excavator has replaced these workhorses. ;)

I took this photo some years ago now,of a JCB 110B, it was sitting in the entrance hall of JCB World headquarters for awhile .. dont know what happened to it now though..

HI Martin,

They still have this old girl as part of there heritage collection. She gets wheeled out for the various open days. It's my second favourite JCB machine.

On another note, are Excavators female (like ships)?

This is the only pic i have of the 110's bigger brother the 114,released in 1976 along with the 112, powered by a 126 bhp 6 cylinder perkins diesel,

I think excavators are female.They can be a b**** to work on :lol: But they don't answer back :lol: They can be tempremental and moody but we love them.Some people get turned on by them ;)

I spotted this tidy little drott last week during a long weekend break in North Wales.It was working in Abegelle.

they dont seem to have a problem with vandals .. amazingly all the glass still intact
