Ward Brothers Scammell sighting on the road !!!!

I saw it today in the flesh, and after a quick trip to intensive care for mild cardiac arrest brought on by the sight of such a beautiful truck I was quickly returned to the garage to get some photos of this heavy haulage BEAST, anyway ill put the pics up later this evening.

Remember been on sites when this truck delivered kit 1980s , sadly never took any pics.

it does look the part!!

Ward's are having a downsizing, apparently the biggest customer asked them to reduce their rates again, and stuart ward told them where to go!

The FH and trailer are going as well, getting a smaller outfit

Will they be replacing the fh16? It would be something else to see the scammell step up and go back to work :D

I thought Wards were selling all their equipment, i recently saw an advert for a Ward Bros Cat 980F for sale which was located in Darlington, have still to find out exactly where its at!
