More great videos.I organised an open day last year at Miller Argent Ffross y Fran open cast.
We were taken around the site in a couple of 4 by 4's.
It reminded me of that Jurassic Park film.Those machines looked like big dinosaurs munching away at the mountain of coal.
Have you seen the Cranes and Excavator videos? My mate Geof Lewis made an interesting series of films.I have seen them for sale on Ebay

I totally agree with you there martyn. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to visited that opencast coal site even though i have been working on various quarries for the last 11 years operating heavy equipment. I never get tired of seeing different sites or operating different pieces of machinery. I`ll have a look on Ebay.
