V8 Perkins water pump
Dismantling V8 Perkins water pump. Got the big nut removed & also the fan belt pulley & removed the circlip. Tried to press the shaft and impeller out but does not want to go easily. Do i need to push the impeller off the shaft from the back? Thanks for any advice in advance.

Don't know the '8, so pics would be interesting.
Is a rebuild kit available? When I repleced the pump on my 1004, the rebuild kit was discontinued and even if it had been available, the last list price was highter than a replacement pump.
