JCB 1400B/3CX hydraulic filter P/N

Hi,

I have a 91-ish JCB 1400B. I am hoping someone might know how I can search for parts, specifically the P/N for the hydraulic filter. I found the workshop manual here, looks to be SN315000-400000. I pasted a picture from the workshop manual that shows the style of filter.

Hi Bubs,
There are two options listed. A 25 micron filter pt no. 581/06301 or a 10 micron filter pt no. 581/00012. I'd go with the second one as it'll remove smaller particals.
https://parts.jcb.com gives us access to parts lists and diagrams in the UK but I don't know if it's available to you in the USA. If it is,you meed to click on the 3CX listings and then select 1400B at the bottom.

Yep - the jcb parts site is apia if you are out of the uk.

If you are changing the hydraulic oil, take to oportunity to wash out the return filter (accessable through the round cover on the side of the tank).
When the hatch is off, you will be able to see what nastyness has collected in the bottom of the tank).

Don't think there is a hyd filter (suction) in the tank on that year of machine but there is a steering filter in the bottom corner...

ok, thanks. I assumed is had been introduced by '91
Always confusing matching the NA/ UK serial ranges too.
The manual I'm looking at (9803 / 3250) (SN 290 000 ->) does not show a return filter, but does show an inline cartridge hydraulic filter.
