Off on a tangent, all I saw in that first photo was Wylie Cyote setting a trap for road runner. By the car reg nos. I would guess Scotland.
Back on track, I wouldn't have expected to see an Opperman Motorcart on a building site.

Standard PPE for the era, cap on head fag in mouth.

Last photo looks like the NCK crane has just lifted the steel coil off the Guy Big J and is about to load it onto the boat, some grand old photos amongst the others, happier days, better days.

Complete with a cab that started life on BMCs during the mid 60s!

Waste not, want not I guess. Scania, Volvo, and to some extent Daf all stuck a bonnet on a current cab.

The Scammell once delivered a big towed crusher to a site I was on . It had a temporary ballast box fitted on fifth wheel.
Still about on show circuit.
