That Bedford KM looks at a rather precarious angle :wtf: no wheels either; how strange! :think: Great pics as per usual Steve. :thumbup:

I think it's possibly ex Blue Circle - I expect its been parked on the Quay too long and the pikeys had the wheels away :D

I gather that the TKs and KMs were sort after for export at one time. So wee some of the spares, a relative in Newmarket used run old 8-10t TK tippers and they went to one of them one morning to find it would not move. On closer inspection the gearbox had disappeared.

Sadly there is no text with the picture. It's a scan from a Colas brochure from the early 60's.
