Yes that bridge hardly looks strong enough to take the weight of a train, suppose it could be a light railway such as a tram but even so not good. First photo great show Poclain TY45 machines being manufactured.

Zut alors! It looks like the bucket was over the top of tipper. If that was the case, the driver must have been asleep.

Ford 4 or 5000 hiding in the back of the bridge pic. Can't id the one in the Shipstones pic - could be a Ford but...
Ford in the last pic is a us spec 8 or 9000 series, base for the County 1254 and 1454. Don't understand why you'd tie the tow strap to the lift arm when there's a perfectly good drawbar.
The future's bright.. Bright red and grey that is.

The IH 856 Yankee as well, not to be confused with the completely different Neuss built 856.
Nice period photo of the Whitlock Dinkum TLB loading into the old Bedford.

It's difficult to comprehend that in the us they are classed as rowcrop machines whereas here they'd be front line stubble busters. I'm sure the IH would be the better place to spend a shift as long as you didn't have to go up and down those steps too often. I wonder what market it was for as generally the us spec was for no lights in the grill but two on each wing.

Off on a tangent, all I saw in that first photo was Wylie Cyote setting a trap for road runner. By the car reg nos. I would guess Scotland.
Back on track, I wouldn't have expected to see an Opperman Motorcart on a building site.

Is that the tricycle? I guess one the roads made up it would be useful on a large site? Be done by the telehandlers today.
