Lots of illustrations there how the general public were viewed as having common sense.
Maybe not so common these days !

Those were times when people looked where they were going and listened to the surroundings. Now they walk with earphones in and staring into the palm of their hand. They only break from that to film something for 'views content'.
The future's bright.. Bright red and grey that is.

A very frightening thing as I see it. I'm pretty sure people like that wouldn't hear a Paxman Valenta at full power right next to them, yet anyone in the day would have heard it over a mile away! Even when they film I doubt they take in what they see. Very different to what I do, often desparately trying to find Major's, and more normally other tractors, JCB's, trains, aircraft and so on. And on the road often note issues with engines ahead that smoke or sound terrible! In that sense there are a ridiculous number of black smokers, almost certainly for not cleaning the air filter.

Fith one down - Is that a DAF? Trailer looks a bit flimsy.

Don't know but it looks like the load has a bit of an overhang.

I reckon the Foden S80 cab had the big Gardner 8LXB. Fairly early S80 cab, the reverse Tardis.
