I remember buying the Husky version from Woolworths and being really pleased that there was another range of model trucks as well as Matchbox I could buy with my pocket money.

I don't remember those Craig, odd that a model was made for something like hen's teeth?

I saw one today on a market stall of collectors items in Cradley Heath.

The Blaw Knox dealership I think became a Ruston Bucyrus dealership then went to Bywater Plant before closing.

Wonder what the Police incident was in the third photo down with the 2 Hy-mac 580C machines? Looks like a building had collapsed?

I would think it's the Clarkston gas explosion.

That's some interesting geometry on the Skooper.

Some nice pics there Steve  the two Priestman machines the 220 on the left and the 120 on the right, and the JCB 5C on the demo job, and the 580C in the first photo.

The second pic could be a scene from 'Hell Drivers'.
Looking at the AEC pic I do wonder about the driver having to be able to remove, manipulate and refit those knockout trailer rears, and meanwhile working that manual winch. Probably someone you wouldn't want to meet in a pub brawl.
