Hello,

I'm finnish farmer and I search parts my MH 745 -56 (General Purpose Model). Have any places where I can find/buy used parts?

The M-H 745 was assembled in Kilmarnock Scotland from kits imported from America initially but some parts were UK sourced including the Engine and wheels. The front axle assembly may be the same as on other models from that era but you need an expert to find out which, But i belive they was a UK source part.

The Hydraulic lift which was supplied by Andraulic a Scottish company who built early hydraulic lift gear fitted to several makes of tractor including The Turner "Yeoman of England" and others. (based on info from a Allan Condie Book on M-H tractors).

Have you tried contacting the Massey-Ferguson owners / collectors clubs for assistance from other collectors ? They may know somebody with a machine kept for spares. But it may be a case of copying one to make a new part as is done by many of the steam engine restorers. Somebody may have a pattern for casting the steering arms.

Front axle must be UK made because I haven't ever seen that type front axle US-made Massey-Harris.
