Re: 3C for sale
Don't weigh it in and scrap it, its far to good to be scrapped there are plenty of people out there looking for machines i would put it on e-bay it should make at least £1500 and prob more, even though it has'nt got all of its glass, the cab does not look in too bad a condition, also it has a decent 6in1 on it, if you do put it on e-bay make sure you let the auction run to the end, you will get a few dreamers and timewasters along the way with the usual what is the least you will take for it mate (tell em to F off) and say no to overseas bidders alot of people end up having problems with them paying. Good luck if i lived closer i would be interested as my 3C seems to have become a nature reserve and i have birds nesting in it

I agree with what the others have said Andy, seems in good nick, too good to scrap ... cept there is something not right with the cab ... has it had a knock bending slightly backwards ?

Re: 3C for sale
I have a 3c mkII That i am thinking of selling it is a 1977 with 6 in 1 front all glass is in the cab, i have owned it for 5 years and it has been excellent, virtually new rear tyres, it has had new filters all round. Also just fitted a new battery, Always starts well and engine oil pressure always in the middle of the guage, Fuel, oil and Amps guages work and some lights too. The machine has never let me down and will come with 1 x 18 bucket.

I'm in France and battle this attitude every time I want to buy something from the UK, and to be frank, it pee's me off. If its a article I can buy from other people I just pass over the seller for his attitude. Sometimes if its a rare piece, I will pm the seller asking them if they're ok if I arrange the courier etc from my side, but if they maintain the stance I almost always walk away as a early warning sign the seller has a attitude problem and will be a nightmare to deal with if any issues arise.
For the record, in the past few years Ive bought my 3ciii, a h&f water brake weighing in at 2 ton, a motorhome, static caravans, and six vehicles off ebay uk auctions, let alone the machine tools and other things that often turn up on pallets. If you don't want my money fine. It is your choice. But beware the implications of stating that choice if that's not what you truly mean.

Cor blimey, that is a bit of a delayed reaction! Does she run, and does everything work? Leaks? Known problems?
