Thanks for a wonderful set of pictures - the spirit of Brunel and the other great British civil engineers lives on!
I do hope that there is an official video that will be shown on TV in the future as a bit of UK trumpet blowing will not go amiss and is good for the soul! Looks like the whole thing was accomplished with cool efficiency - what a contrast to some of the antics on mega movers etc!
Fascinated by those modular trailers - presume some fairly advanced hydraulics and "brain power" is needed to keep the load bed level when traversing uneven ground.

This time last week screens all over the world were watching history about to be made in London.

The marriage we would see was built on firm foundations and vows were to be given to stay together for eternity

All you Doughnuts who thought I was going on about the Royal Wedding – No, I meant the new railway structure at London Bridge with Gareth doing his bit for the future king and country

Gaz,

With a camera phone in front of a crane job, you are what Steven Spielberg is to Cinematography

Like Katy Adie reporting from the latest war zone, you give us the facts

Comparing Jordan’s breast enhancements, the topics you give us get bigger and better

If we could all get in the Comedil Cab at the top of The Shard, we would salute you from the highest heights but instead we will use this forum to show our appreciation.

Have a good time in Florida and when you get back we don’t what to see any “Micky Mouse” crane pictures. Give us the real thing again.
