Merlo Telehandler

Post #1 by verdone » Fri Nov 07, 2025 5:21 pm

Question, i have a telehandler which leaks fuel out of the fuel cap when driving up an incline and full power. It is coming out of the little hole which is the vent hole i presume. It is a lot though.

Any ideas what will cause this over presurre in the tank i presume?

I would imagine this would only take place if you have a full tank of fuel? All tanks need venting for obvious reasons, guess you could try a new tank cap?

I wonder if it is the correct cap? The tank has to breath.
