benford 4x4 dumper

hi all i've got a benford 2 ton artic dumper, can anyone tell me what fluid you put in it for the brakes. the brakes are inside the axles, they need bleeding i think. i,ve heard you put oil in it.

try this site http://www.winget.co.uk/UserGuide.aspx#12, might have your axle listed, from memory needs to be a mineral based fluid, dont use dot4 or 5,if i find out i will let you know

I used to put brake and clutch fluid in mine but it had a small leak on the cylinder so i started putting a light hydraulic fluid in, slowed the leak and worked just as good ;)

Most dumpers of this age are happy to have any sort of oil in as they are usually running on a mixture of soil, water, sand and cement :lol:
