Unknown dumper.

Can anyone help me identify this dumper. Struggling to find another like it.

Hi Finley and welcome somebody on here should be able to identify your dumper for you; as I'm no dumper expert I will give it a pass although like Norman says it could be a Winget?

Welcome to this great forum Finley.
Is there a clearer picture of the decal on the bin? That may also help identify your nice toy. Also look for an I.D. plate, on my Liner it was riveted onto the back panel below the bonnet. They could be attached in many different places on different makes.
I am not sure but I tend to lean towards it being a Winget so while waiting for a confirmation do a search on the Forum using Winget as the key word and see if any look familiar.

Here are some more pictures. I've seen a few Wingets like it but not with the same wheel arches.

Is that a proper number plate or something the previous owners used for an I.D?
If it is a number plate cross reference it with the authorities. The missing numbers appear as though they were a 95 but is tricky with it upside down.
I now see that the writing on the bin is adverting for the previous owners I guess.
As for the shape of the wheel arches sometimes small changes are made to identify different models or year of manufacture so keep looking.

Hi. Yes it is a Lister engine. Starts and goes very well. I've rang the phone numbers on the dumper but its now a religious centre ha ha.
Checked the number plate with the DVLA tax check and it says the dumper is a yellow Barford. Manufactured in 1986. Not sure how accrate they are or if the number plate is off something else.

Hi. Yes my dumper is very similar to yours. Mine has a hydraulic tip so would that make mine a 4shd? The Winget manual that I found on here has squarer arches. Maybe they just used the same picture for all the manuals? Would like to see more pictures of the rear of yours Norm. Think the arches will be patch up. Did you find any identification plates on you dumper?

Yes I have the original brass plate somewhere and you're right about the manuals, they seem to show them all with angular ( mudwings ) as the books call them. I'm hoping to start the reassembly soon. The 4s is fitted with the twin cylinder Petters.
