any tips on starting these dumpers, just been out to start it to put in garage to tidy up an i just can't get it to start , cant under stand it, as used it on sat an sun it it started up on the first go almot every time, even first think in the morn when it was cold.

towed it into the garage today to have a propper look, fuel filter was full of rust an gunk, so ordered up a service kit,
drained out the fuel tank, so hopefully will be up an running great again soon. no idea what engine oil to put init, looked for ages on net an nothing, any i guess.

the old girl is up an running again, my m8's been using it the last few weeks, u can't beat the old school stuff, it was build to last, does anyone know what sort of weight these things are empty, thanks

Did you discover the make. I don't think it is a Thwaites. Possibly a Liner?

hi looks like a lister sr2 engine straight 20/20w for operating between o degrees to 30 degrees 9 1/2 pints

Hi, the dumper is a liner 1300. Fitted with listerst2, they made a 750kg fitted with 9 inch drum brakes
that will be fitted with girling 10 inch drums.hope this helps

Looks like an MF 35 seat :

Fairly comfy with a cushion and backrest, I imagine it's fairly supportive when doing fast turns too
