hi all i've got a benford 2 ton artic dumper, can anyone tell me what fluid you put in it for the brakes. the brakes are inside the axles, they need bleeding i think. i,ve heard you put oil in it.

try this site http://www.winget.co.uk/UserGuide.aspx#12, might have your axle listed, from memory needs to be a mineral based fluid, dont use dot4 or 5,if i find out i will let you know

I used to put brake and clutch fluid in mine but it had a small leak on the cylinder so i started putting a light hydraulic fluid in, slowed the leak and worked just as good
Most dumpers of this age are happy to have any sort of oil in as they are usually running on a mixture of soil, water, sand and cement
