I was looking through my picture files today and found some photos of a trip I organised a few years back to K J Services at the top of the Rhymney valley.The old Hymac excavator factory. Its great to see this factory still in use in the plant repair industry and Hymac excavators being restored and still in use,a true classic plant machine

Nice to see those pics.
In 1967/8 Keith Thomas (Mr.KJ) was driving a D6C at The Marine Colliery, Ebw Vale for Bonds of Cardiff.
At that time they ran about 30 Cats, and I was working for them on the spanners.
Keith has done well, and long may it continue. Hats off to him

His grandson in the photo operated a D8 at KJ's like a true pro.Everybody there was staggered at his skil.
