The Hitachi 870 was in late 2006(nearly new).They were moving my machine so i spent a day on a Cat 740 adt at Foster Yeomans Torr works.
The 2nd is our Hitachi EX490 long reach.It was brought 2nd hand is was fitted with a 22m Koreck boom.This was early 2006 in Newlyn,Cornwall.We dug out the harbour for new "small boat" pontoons.We had the long reach,a Cat 320CL & 2 A25D`s.This was the latest we worked tide wise,as i was coming in.This was my last load,but i only got 300 yrds before i broke down on the beach.We just managed to get the dumper up the beach enough using the diggers.By the time Volvo came out,the water was lapping around the rear wheels.All it was was a corroded wire under the belly plate.Will add to this as & when
