Hi Tom and welcome to CMN :wave: I must say that if I were investing that kind of money in a machine then I would want to see it in the flesh so as to speak, I don't really think that you can accurately judge anything by photographs alone :think:

I too, would want to see it close up.I would check its maintenance record and also operate it and check all its functions are working as they should be.also check its running gear, ram and pipe condition.Bring every thing up to running temperature,walk around the machine and check for any leakage before spending your hard earned cash.

Does anyone possibly have any photos of the Caterpillar E650 from the "Mitsubishi era"? It's basically a beefed-up MS580. Also; if anybody has an original brochure on this machine for sale or exchange, please contact me?
