Nearly there now, Pitty I havent been able to spend more time on it . It seems to have taken such a long time.

The back tyres wouldn't stay up so I took them off. I doubted if I could move them off the rims as they've not been disturbed for 27 years or more.
I made a slide hammer to break the bead and with the help of a little Fairy Liquid I eventually won the fight.

Pleased to say that the tyres are OK so I'll be able to retain the original tread pattern, but the tubes were stuck to the rims and came out in bits.
I've got two new tubes comming tomorrow and I've sand blasted the rims so it wont be long now.
