not really sure if this is the correct place to write this, when i went to post some pictures early from a cd of mine it was telling me that the file size was to large is there anyway of down sizing the pics?

Tony, you have to use some kind of image resizing software. I can recommend irfanview because it is small, effective, fast, reliable and you can get it for free.

Angus, you have the buttons in the field named "Filename" below the textbox where you type the text in your post.
Remember that the file size must be below 250 kb or the server will not accept the picture.

Hi Holger, the site is great, I being a new member found it easy to post pics,once I found how to shrink them, and I have very basic computor skills. Not sure how you can make any better to post!

Gordon, I would say that it is better to continue in the thread than to make a new one as long as it is the same "theme".
But of course in case it is about different machines (like cranes vs excavators) then you should start a new thread or find an earlier thread with the right topic if there are such a thread and if you can find it easily.
But dont spend hours trying to find if there are a thread with just that machine. Start a new thread if you dont find a suitable thread easily.

You sure have an impressive collection of photos!
Please let me know if you find photos of anyone of my machines.
Or a Ford A-62 wheel loader that I might buy in case the "business negotiations" ends well.

I really enjoy the site, I'm not too well up on computers so probably couldn't suggest anything if I wanted to. One idea I've seen so far that I'd second is the addtion of a chat room. Not sure if that would be viable unless the numbers on line were higher.
