Wirtgen road planer; but what model?

Calling all Wirtgen/road planer enthusiasts!
URL of the original image: http://image85.webshots.com/85/0/28/44/2570028440056294567lyiPYl_fs.jpgJust snapped this one this morning. It seems quite regular here to paint over anything with the model number. I'm sure its a conspiracy to keep us people who have an interest in machinery guessing at what we're looking at.
Anyway; its not a huge machine by any standards. The traffic cones are a decent scale to size it up against I suppose.
Any ideas?
Best regards
Gavin

Can't give you an exact model number, but it is possible to narrow it down to about half a dozen models of ''Large Milling Machines'':

Looks like a W2100 machine....around 36tonnes and plenty big as road planers go.

I think Wirtgen give the machine a model number based on its drum width. Take some measurements when its parked up and you should get an answer!

Looking at Tarmac's website for their road planing division
you can just make one out in the brochure as being a W2100.
http://www.tarmac.co.uk/products_and_services/contracting/idoc.ashx?docid=74cb6189-c445-4c5f-83d6-2a42983476a3&version=-1I didn't even know until now that Tarmac had their own planing division.
All the jobs they've done for us the planing has been contracted out.

Tarmac bought NRP from the now defunct Rand Group (UCS Civils, UCS Plant etc) a few years back to augment Tarmac's National Contracting division and to provide a steady supply of road planings to Tarmac Recycling and also their asphalt plants I believe.

Hello
Yes Dave, Tony started operating a planer in 1980 but he's running a fair size outfit now.
Check out his website at:-
