Must've beeen a failure, don't imagine they'd park it there to re seal the final drive.

It never ceases to amaze me why fitters set things up to potentially fail, why would you have the track up like that when you pull a SCAB? Just lift the blade a little and run it under it, not right off but just enough so it sits flat on top of the track frame. Remember it can't fall down when it is sitting on top of the frame while you are working in and around bolting the final drive back in, just dumb.

Everyones an expert, you don't know why the machine is down or if it would drive. Please don't critise others when you don't know the facts. Armchair fitters or field mechanics, there is a difference.
