Hi, Folks.
Well, at least this got some discussion happening. I find it interesting that some people aer refusing to use FARCEbook or Whats App. I decided back in about 2004 to dump FARCEbook 'coz for all it'z bad habits of harvesting data and selling it. I've never been to Whats App and I got booted from LinkedIn many years ago 'coz they didn't like my conservative views. Funny thing is I miss it - - - about like toothache.

Unfortunately Facebook is king these days with the ability to download pictures with ease and speed.
It’s killed every other forum off.
I still update my thread once or twice a year, but only to try and help keep the forum alive.
HEF over in the US is still healthy, but I put this down to a much older demograph of posters in a group with thousands and thousands of members.

Don't understand that, I find forums much easier to find things in. Don't know about FB but not a fan of some of its stuff, never put in for it as a result.

Hi, Nick Lamb.
I once useta post quite a bit on HEF but hadda 'disagreement with them over couple of things and thought my meagre talents and knowledge might be more useful elsewhere. I wasn't 'booted' off but did go back once to let people know of a pretty major show that was coming up in the US. One of the moderators responded, not to thank me but to tell other members thta if they went to that show, they should tell people that theynheard about it on HEF. I haven't been back since.

Although quiet this is one of, if not the most, civilised social media platform that I have seen.
People on here manage to say civil even if not necessarily agreeing.
