That’s the last D8 out of the gate in June.
D8 number 12.
Been semi retired now since Jan 2021,but kept this and a D9 until it was finished.Had a few people wanting this last D8 whenever I was ready to finish with it.Anyway,it got cleaned up and loaded with more gps stuff, then out working with its new owner in the UK.

I’ll still keep posting occasionally,as the D9 isn’t sold yet and I still to part time work for a Cat equipment dealer which sometimes gets me abroad.
Nice work when I can get it,but I’m not allowed to post many pictures or say much unfortunately.
Trips this year have been into Italy and Spain with Austria on the horizon.A company I work for has Cat kit on the rental fleet in various parts of the planet,so I get to see abit of frostbite and sunburn occasionally

Well,Big Marmalade was sold in January this year and has gone overseas to work.Another D9 was sent with it.
Another D9 has since arrived, not mine,so it’s had a few jobs done to it before sending it back out. It’s been working and seems a good machine.
Had quite a few scrapers over the finishing line in the last 12 months with all but one headed back out to work.

The D10’s haven’t worked for a year unfortunately, but we live in hope. There’s 2 of the nearky new ones and I think there’s more older ones on the hire sheet.
I’ve pretty much lost interest in the game now as retirement has got me hooked.
I still have a fair few comercial and domestic tennants to keep my eye on,but having now confirmed a the dreaded lower bavk and neck disc problems,my days of working at the heavy equipment level are greatly reduced.
However, one of my sons has taken an unexpected interest in the big yellow beasts,so we’ll see how it goes
