Re: Norscot 992G

Hi Dah, For handrails on 1:50 models I use 1/32 (0.81mm) brass rod. Its thin enough to bend but once soldered is pretty strong. For hydraulic hoses I buy a pair of 99p MP3 player headphones and cut them up. I'm trying to find some photos for you. This is a WA800 project i have on the go. The replace...

Komatsu HD605 with headlights.

I finally managed to get this one finished tonight, It was the lights that had been giving me a headache! I made a fake load out of foam and hollowed out the underside to hide a 9V battery box. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/post_img/8746876665501e923581ab.jpg URL of the original image...

Re: CAT 797F project

Got back from a weekend away in the Lakes this afternoon and my 8mm letter and numbers had arrived so I painted and fitted the fleet ID number to the front grill and glued on the red shackle eyes to the front bumper. It's coming together. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/post_img/1969022...

CAT 797F project

Started on this 797F project today. Flying a bit solo on it due to no photos of the real white version. Added load indicators to either side of the cab, high viz strips and a fleet number above the rear diff. I will add a fleet number to the front grill when they arrive, I will also be putting high ...

Bymo Terex MT4400 AC

I missed one of these on eBay a few weeks back but the seller managed to get me another. This model has come without the mirrors which I'm not to worried about, I will make some at some point. Chuffed I managed to get hold of one, I think they are a cracking model. Goes really well with the white WA...

Re: NZG Komatsu WA1200. White Edition

Just short of £300 for it Jeremy. Limited run of 100. I have the LT too so they will sit together quite nice. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/post_img/84094802654e6dc3062579.jpg URL of the original image: http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r177/mammut_photos/Le%20Tourneau/PB240016...

NZG Komatsu WA1200. White Edition

Here she is! Very impressed with the model, nice and heavy, good turning circle, carry angle and bucket height. The tyres are impressive with soft rubber. Lots of photos including some to compare with the Tonkin 994. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/post_img/125301469954e65487426ba.jpg U...
