Re: Anyone got a JCB 2BII?
No idea XS650. I just found this old article in Classic Plant magazine and am trying to find out more about them. It says they were replaced by the 2D with the Leyland 4/98 engines. not found out too much about the detachable back actor yet. If I get a better look at it or even buy it, I will keep y...

Re: Anyone got a JCB 2BII?
Thanks guys. that article I read in the classic plant magazine said the 2bii was made from 1968 to 76. I am pretty sure I have found a 2Bii. it has the 3 cylinder engine and the tractor rear lift. Back actor the same as the one in the above article but has no cab. Will be going back soon to have ano...

Re: 1964 JCB 2C?
similar to this 1964 3c I came across. same shape front loader and side entry step. but different shape cab and your rear actor arm shape is the same as my 1963 3. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpix/50054_1M8BWRPTSFV1T1449522631.jpg http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/user...

Re: Backhoe 3c operating levers
I have this one I am about to scrap, will have a look at the operating levers and see what state they are in. all the hoses are now cut off ready for scrapping the chasis.

Re: 1964 registered JCB 3c I think, hydraulic oil level check.
I just recently changed my filter but my dad topped up the oil so not sure what he did. Filter on mine came off easy enough, slacken off all the big bolts at the top and the band that goes around the filter housing (2 nuts in behind the mudguard) watch you don't drop it, its a fair old weight. there...

Re: 1964 registered JCB 3c I think, hydraulic oil level check.
they didn't all have a 'c' on the backhoe, just the 3 badge. is it like this? this is definitely a 1964 jcb 3c that had a fordson major engine. (its not mine, I just got the engine from it) Mine is a 1963 3 pretty much the same apart from the shape of the cab (rear entry), front loader and backhoe. ...

Re: Working JCB 3
I will have a look at getting them off the back actor again next time I'm at my dads. I took the grinder to all the welds but it still wasn't coming off.
I know of another 1 and a half jcb3's if you need any other bits I can have a look.

Re: Working JCB 3
loader badges missing or rotten. sorry
I cant get the one off the back actor, could spend all day trying to grind it off and not worth my time.
