Had to do the same thing on my 3c111 so me time ago. Took the bung out and washed the tank out with parafin.
Didnt need to put in the plastic tube though. Good to learn the whereabouts of the tank sender.

If you cut out old leading edge with burning gear or grinder and replace it with new piece it will leave bucket as good as new.
Leading edges can be bought from someone who makes buckets.

JCB 3c111manual or JCB3c111torque(powertrain)

Just joined this site recently. Have been looking at different JCBs on various auction sites. If you only have a photo to look at is there
any way of telling the difference between a JCB3c111 manual gearbox, torque, or a powertrain? Which setup would be the best option?
