 Hi, a nice Chaseside brought into our local scrap yard last year, spotted whilst we were attending to their New Holland handler. Was in good shape and a runner, orginally was used in a coal yard then in its latter life in a wood yard. I showed interest in it , scrap guys came up with a grand price, though it was at the peak of scrap prices. We kept thinking about a purchase but alas she was cut up!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers John

What a shame that 700 (I think) had not been knocked about. I reckon the high scrap prices have seen a lot of old Brit engineering heritage disappear.

It looks like it was a manual gear box by the position of the gear lever. They used to have a wide brake pedal so that you could use left or right foot and tranfer from one to the other.

Some one had nicked the rear corner counter weights.

I don't think it was for sale, I think it may belong to the same owner whom owned quite a few of the Ford tractors on display.
