Nice looking dozer that!!! Someone's very lucky to have the opportunity of getting to wear the paint off the blade!!

I hope this is not a knob style comment, but is the bottom blade to push frame joint/s mounted incorrectly??? as the blade looks to be falling over, the bottom joint on all the CAT dozers I have ever seen are mounted with the link towards the blade and the push frame pinned so the link is pulled, it sort of looks crap to me, although its hanging off a neat chariot.

Forward or back is OK, depends on the application. The way it's positioned is good for carrying material.
Like you say, nice mount.

LDK, that is something I have never seen before, or new of, it looks crap to me and I will admit if I had the shout on that site it would be swapped into its normal set position, modern blade shapes are very good at holding and carrying material, the method of dozing is more important to retaining material on this style of blade, in my eyes it looks "Wrong" with the bottom of the blade rubbing on the dirt, its bad enough wearing out edges, it looks like the blade will need turning before the edges, (its just my thoughts)

tctractors,
You are right about the look of it, I have always thought that myself. But I have come across quite a few dozers set up that way and thought of it as being no different to the twin tilt carry dozer set up, other than it being put in that position manually.
