Hi all,
It was great to meet up with some of the lads on Saturday.
The link club had arranged a day out at The Miller Argent Opencast Site at Merthyr Tydfil.
Among the CMN members present were B100LOADER, TC tractors, Lynx Man, Ianto36 and John Gaunt who was once a regular contributor.
Millar Argent had washed down and brought out a 777 dump truck for us climb over and play with, then took us on to the site to view the excavation. The weather was pretty bad so no decent pics I'm afraid. These are the best I could do.
We went on to an excelent pub lunch and spent the afternoon viewing Ian Davieses Collection at Crynant, Neath.
Many thanks to The Link Club, Barry Cosslett who organised the day and to Miller Argent and Ian Davies for their hospitality.
Fred
