These pictures were posted on another forum and they said on there that the excavator was able to pull its sellf out under its own steam

Any idea how the operator got out to the RH340 to start the recovery attempt :dizzy: :shock:

I'm sure this was the same site that was in a recent issue CP&M Magazine with the operator using a small helicopter.

just google Ensham Mine floods. it's here in central Queensland. A large dragline also went under, she was dryed out and running again a couple weeks ago.

Great pictures.
I am trying to get hold of some pictures of a MF300 loader fitted with a back acter I was called out to at Cockwood harbour Devon in 1983.
I was told it was stuck and could not be started.The water was up to the worklights ontop of the cab.Must have been 7/8 foot deep.I did not have diving gear on the van :lol:
