HI EVERY ONE NOT BEEN A MEMBER FOR LONG BUT WHAT A GREAT SITE ANYWAY I HAVE A BTD8 DOZER FOR SALE 1970 USED IT ON A COUPLE OF MY JOBS NOW NEED THE ROOM IN MY WORKSHOP IT HAS THE ORINGAL CAB WITH ALL GLASS IN IT HAS THE DRY ELEMENT AIR FILTER .IT NEEDS THE BLADE RAMS RESEALING BUT IS WORKABLE THE RUNNING GEAR IS ABOUT 40% SPROKETS, ROLLERS OK BUT CHAINS ARE WEARING SHE IS IN THE INTERNATIONAL YELLOW PAINT . IT HAS A 9FT ANGLE BLADE CUTTING EDGES OK FOR ANYONE WHO MIGHT OF SEEN IT ON EBAY A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO IT DID SELL BUT A COMPLETE TIMEWASTER . I AM IN ESSEX , IF YOU NEED MORE INFO GET BACK

She looks good Gary,I would have been very interested but I have agreed to get a BTD6 Drott.But,I know of someone who will be interested.Could you give me a few more details and a photo of the running gear,and a few shots of the side and rear ?I nearly got one of these a few years back but a chap sold it to a person who guzzumped me.

Great little tractors, my first blade was a TD8. Sold it regrettably back in about 2002 to a complete nob who's let it go :doh: . I'd love it back but he wont sell it! A good little workhorse and fun too! :thumbup:

Hello martyn thanks for the reply i m going up my workshop tomorrow i shall take some pics for you i ll be starting it up and give her a run i normally run her every week as you can see it is dry stored away from the elements it is reading just over 3000 hrs on the clock i am to believe it is genuine and that it has been a essex tractor since new . My dad is a old D8 and box man back in the 60 s and 70 s he also used to drive these btd8 s he said they were a handy little dozer on certain jobs. I am reluctant to sell her but it is taking up a bit of room now in my workshop and i need the room as im restoring my caterpillar ten and what with the work being a bit slow in our game at the mo it is just sitting there .

Hello martin yes i am a link club member have been for about 8 years i ve had the ten for 5 years now i ve completly stripped it down renewed the transmission gears had the engine re built it was in a bad state i ve pratically gone right through it cost me enough though but totally worth it its my little baby lol. anyway i ll post some more pics of the btd8 for you over the weekend i need the room as i said in my workshop so hopefully whoever you got interested will like it . I am asking £3,500 for it no offers also got all the manuals with it also spare water pump and a set of head lights GARY
