Hi all this is my first time on the forum. I have been working on www.lastability.com for Finning and wanted to say how pleased I was that the Link Club have joined the site (Old Caterpillar Vintage tractor club). We are now doing stories on members machines and helping to promote their flickr page.
The link to the site is www.lastability.com/linkclub

Peter
That photo of my mates D8 , I sat on that very machine for my dad to take a photo of me in 1963.It was used to level sand dunes for the construction of a caravan park.
This is a great hobby that brings together people of the same interest. It also protects out heritage in keeping these machines going for everyone to see.It is also important to keep the hobby going in the form of getting younger people interested in machinery.
I took a few of my machines to an event in Pontypridd recently,I was amazed by how the young kids are still interested in diggers, when they have been brought up on computer games.
