I've seen a CASE CX130 with one on, it just looked odd and a bit on the weak side. I could see where it would be handy.

There was an article in a mag about one fitted to a 5 tonne midi excavator and the operator found it very useful on housing sites.

I think some case rubber ducks were fitted with extending dippers, espcially railroad ones...
