extendahoe on a excavator

have you ever seen an extendahoe on a excavator insted of a backhoe

yes seen a few on 6_8 ton hitachi komatsu and kobelcos

Excluding shaft sinking applications I have seen Hitachi & Kobelco to 12/13 tonnes fitted with extending dippers.

Also Bobcat, Kubota and Neuson mini excavators with extendable dippers.

No she was a import,arm worked of a foot pedal interesting thing to drive.

Was there any addition to the counterweight on this machine?
Must have been a bit of a nodder at full extension if not.

Traditionaly HEX's are more mavouverable than the back hoes and therefore dont require the additional reach...

With the long carriage and no QH and a meter scoop it wasn't to bad.
