Hello Stuart
The coal will be moved out by EWS railways in 1200 tonne trains pulled by a class 66 3200hp locomotives,so I am expecting a few callouts to this site.
Pete Vicary was telling me that Finning have got a good maintenance contract up there.Saw the Demag yesterday being used. Those trucks are being assembled at the old Cwmbargoed washery site, spent a few cold days up there a few years back.
I will be arranging a visit with ACMOC chapter 2 in the Spring time to KG Services, their yard is only a couple of miles from this site.Anyone on this board who would like to join us please contact me through this site or ACMOC

That list is nearly there, theres also a D10T, the water bowsers are 773B conversions by Humphreys. The main excavators will be Komatsu/Demag PC3000s.

Several of the protestors (i can think of a few other names for them) were dressed as polar bears and others as clowns to "releave tension"...........

well.

Think i'll keep my thoughts to myself on this......
