Well we have 3 or 4 PC210/8`s.As you may have seen from my posts, some of them are a bit worn on the boom pin.And a few of my quarrys that have PC600 7`s& 8`s have had boom cracking issues.
Overall i like the Komatsus.I think they have one of the largest cabs, low noise levels in the cabs,& very user friendly. My only :arrrrgh: points are that some of our operators reckon the hydraulics can get jerky, which i found out last week, when the 210 i had would have a fit every now & then :x And the ventalation vent below the displayscreen really wants to be on top of the screen as it just cools your knee & then i feel hot headed as i cant get the breeze on my face. Its only a small thing but makes a difference being cool on a hot day.
But i`ve used our 210`s for feeding crushers, hammering, loading dumpers, earthworks, stripping top soil, all maner of things,& found them to be generally good. The only difference in the cabs really is the newer display screen in the dash 8.If you liked the dash 7 180,you should like the dash 8 :D
From what i`ve heard today i`m defo getting a EC360C Volvo :D  .Would`nt mind trying our ZX350/3 though :)

Yep,agree to that!Radio & A/C & i`ll drive anything. The 1st digger i drove was a well worn beaten Cat 330BL.Spent the summer on it.No A/C,but the radio worked a treat. And i was happy to be on a digger at last.I find some days the time just drags,a radio makes all the difference.
I found the seat great in the 290C i had in march. At the end of the day,i dont think any of us drivers are ever 100% happy in any machine  The only way to get a perfect machine is to make 1 yourself

As some of you know a plant inspector from Volvo came to see my machine on weds.
Its being traded in against a EC290C & EC360C.Overall he was very impressed by the condition & tightness of my digger for the age, hours & job that it does(& the nice clean cab  ).The only minor points being one of my idelers has some cracking around the center mounting bearing point, bottom rollers all need replacing,& the bottom liftram pin holes are worn.He says they(Volvo)should have no problem selling it on.
Still dont know for sure if i will get our 15ish month old EC360C or our 2 yr old ZX350/3.I`d be very happy with either.
The only thing is,i cant wait now  .Now that i know mine is going,i want my new machine NOW

I know how you feel mate! As soon as i heard my machine had been put up for sale i wanted to know what i would be getting! I still have no idea just keep hearing a few rumours but nothing substantial ever comes up!
