I've stumbled across some details for Hyundai's new backhoe loader, the HB100.
Hyundai had announced that they were going to introduce a backhoe loader, but were focussing on developing markets.
Looks like a across between a Volvo BL71 and a Turkish Hidromek.
According to Hyundai Construction Equipment's Webzine 'Hyundai Edge' (Summer 2009), the HB100 and a smaller HB90 will be launched at the end of 2009.

I thought it looked like a BL71 too! The backactor looks like JCB's though! Im fact so do the the chasis and jack legs! (Jack legs kinda all look the same though!)
Having looked at the bigger picture it looks like a 3CX thats been photoshopped!

Got to agree with Joe, it does look like a JCB with a few cosmetic changes.

I can't comprehend JCB selling rights for their old products to anyone especially an Asian rival that could potentially under cut them
My initial thought was that Hyundai may have collaborated on the quiet with a Turkish manufacturer like Hidromek, Cukurova (sold in parts of Europe by Ausa) or Sanko Makina (MST), all of which draw heavily upon proven JCB design ideas-''imitation is the highest form of flatery'', shall we say.
Hyundai collaborate with Thomas and Nagano for their skid steers and mini excavators respectively, so who knows

Re: Hyundai Backhoe Loaders.
Can assue you JCB haven't sold any rights for our BHL. I have done a detailed analysis of the machine and there are potential patent infringments and can also be done for unfair competition. It is advertised on a lot of Russia websites so likely they will target this market first.
There is very little information on the internet about it apart from the preliminary spec sheet so be intersted if anyone finds anthing else about it

Please keep us informed about the story!
the last time i went to the jcb factory , they had a new cat backhoe in the yard
i also know cat hired a 4cx for a couple of days from a local owner operator to evaluate
this was around 10 years ago
i think you will find they all do it
jcb sell the machines at their yearly auction
knowing less and less about more and more until pretty soon i will know almost nothing about practically everything
