Ffos-y-fran new machines being commisioned

Ffos-y-fran OCCS in June this year, machinery arriving on site and in process of being commisioned.
To start, fleet consists of:
17 777F haul trucks
3 Komatsu PC3000
+ various support equipment, all new, Big ££££££££££

How come everything is new? Is this a new mine or did they only have very old EQ?

Its a new OCCS that starting to reclaim a large area of derelict/contaminated land in South Wales, with underlying coal being extracted and then the site restored and redveleoped once mining has ceased. Apparently the site will be operational for 17 years!
