Hi everyone!

Re: Helle from Nanaimo B.C
Hi
this may be a daft but canot say I come across a "Spyderhoe" , is it a type of mini digger like a smally or powerfab ?
We sometimes refer to the Ultra compact tracked mini cranes as a spider crane due to how the legs look when extended out. (these are the ones that will pass through a doorway and lift about a ton, bigger versions go up to about 5 ton (great for inside buildings, or on the roof).
Thanks in anticipation
Dave

Dave,
The Syderhoe is very similar to the Menzi Muck machine that I wrote about on my blog recently.
Take a look here .. http://www.contractjournal.com/blogs/di ... excav.html

Thanks Nick
Tere was an article on the Menzi or similar in Earthmovers mag a bit back IIRC. So its abit biger than a Smalley or the Powerfac type m/c then.
Sort of specialist machine that for certain jobs is brilliant but most people dont know about and QS will not pay for as they only see the bill not the time and safety element.
Thanks
dave

Re: Hello from Nanaimo B.C
Hey thanks for the welcome guys, glad I found you! I see a lot of familiar names from over at HEF, right on.
Ross I will likely be passing through your neighborhood in the near future. I make at least a couple trips a year out to Alberta, love that drive.
I'm going to go start a new thread and post some pictures of my machine
