Few Models of WYNNS

Post #1 by Gordon Wil » Wed Oct 29, 2008 1:34 pm

Hope some may find these of interest, not brillant conversions but I like them. Some of course are standard models, sure you can tell which?

Regards, Gordon Wil.

Hello Gordon
The detail on models these days is superb. We used to have a chap that visited our rallies that had a great model Scammell collection. When I was a kid I can remember seeing Wynns hauling large loades in the area.We had two traction engines in Wynns livery at our rally a few years back.
Cheers

Lovely photos, I saw a Scammel Crusader(or heavy haulage equivalent) 6x4 heavy haulage unit in Wynns colours on a low loader going eastbound on the M4 the other week. I'd have loved to get a photo of it. I wondered if there might have been a rally somewhere but I guess, considering the time of year, it had been sold & was being delivered.
