JCB 3cx project 8 not moving forward/backwards

Post #1 by gandamaluco » Tue Feb 23, 2021 10:47 pm

Hello guys
I am sorry to bring this subject up again, which has certainly been discussed many times. My 3cx project 8 suddenly stopped moving forward or backward. I was normally running in 4gear on a downhill road. before entering the hangar I engaged 2 gear while waiting for the gate to open and pushed the powershift lever forward but the machine did not advance. it was static in the middle of the road and doesn't move. I didn't hear any strange noises or do anything different, the machine just don't do anything. The gears go well but the shuttle does not take efect...
Any idea?

Check fuse C6 ('C' is the first column, not the third).
All of my fuses have slight corrosion on the contacts, so I've used needle-nosed pliers to pull each fuse and reseat it to scrape the contact clean.
Give each one a visual inspection while you are at it and replace any that look less than perfect.

By the way, do you know what is this for and the right way to connect that Wire... It was loosen and i just plugged it that way but don't know if that's the right way. Do you know the function or what's for?
Thanks

Mine looked just as bad with one wire broken. I cut the two wires back and built an extension. The connector is an EV1 commonly used on fuel injectors, but the standard version won't fit inside that housing. This is the one I ordered and latches correctly while still being able to release it.
